Greg Fenton

Greg joined Butler Tax & Accounting in December 2011.  After 8 years in the Banking industry, most recently serving as a Relationship Manager in a division of Private Services for a large bank, Greg decided it was time to add taxes and accounting to his skills set.  He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and is working toward a Master's Degree.

Currently he is working to obtain his Enrolled Agent designation.  An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of practicing, that is, representing taxpayers, before the Internal Revenue Service.  Enrolled Agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs) are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle and which IRS offices they can practice before.

In addition to preparing personal and corporate tax returns and performing bookkeeping for our currrent business clients, Greg will serve as our Director of Marketing and Business Development.  Greg will be attracting individuals and local businesses to our firm where we can provide a wide range of financial services of tax preparation, accounting, insurance, real estate, financial planning and wealth management.  As our firm continues to grow, we will continue to offer the highest level of service and professionalism we have sought to provide for the past 45 years.

Going on walks with his beautiful wife Brittany, and his 2 adorable children Eva May (5) and Robby (3) is one of Greg's favorite things to do.  He can also be found riding the streets of Salt Lake and climbing canyons on his road bike or riding the trails of the Wasatch Mountains on his mountain bike.  He and his family love spending time outdoors going on hikes, backpacking, camping and spending as much time together as possible.
